New York Times Sensation

Yesterday volunteers swept the streets of New York City with copies of the New York Times. Unlike newspapers boys of old these NYTs were completely fake. They were dated July 4th, 2009 and ran bold headlines like “IRAQ WAR ENDS,” “USA PATRIOT ACT REPEALED,” and “NATIONAL HEALTH INSURANCE ACT PASSES.” Basically, every liberal wet dream was realized in this future version of the New York Times.

Additionally, the geniuses behind the paper copy of this prank set up a spot on website mimicking the New York Times. Check it out here.
