Turns out Kathy Hilton (the woman who spawned Paris Hilton) does not find McCain’s recent attack ad particularly “hot.” In an article for Huffington Post she said:

I’ve been asked again and again for my response to the now infamous McCain celebrity ad. I actually have three responses. It is a complete waste of the money John McCain’s contributors have donated to his campaign. It is a complete waste of the country’s time and attention at the very moment when millions of people are losing their homes and their jobs. And it is a completely frivolous way to choose the next President of the United States.

On a more humorous note, the Borrowitz Report decided to go ahead and speak on behalf of both Ms. Spears and Ms. Hilton–you know, since one lipsyncs and the other sounds like a toddler.

In their anti-McCain spot, the two starlets fight fire with fire, comparing Sen. McCain to the Joker from the smash-hit film “The Dark Knight.”

“It’s perfectly fair,” Ms. Spears said of the ad.  “They both have pasty white faces and totally creepy smiles.”

I know it’s satire, but for some reason it doesn’t really feel like a joke.
